I've been trying to get a good photo like this for a while. I've tried using my lighting system, but that always casts a shadow from the stick bits so it's annoying. But today, I decided I would try it with natural lighting.. and I'm really pleased with how it's turned out.

Obvious editing on the eye. Now overly much else though. I desaturated the colours a bit and added more contrast too. Oh and I duplicated the layer on photoshop, and set the top one to Overlay. It gives a cool effect, just play around with the opacity levels if you do it :)

This photo looks amazing! I love the kind of... icy? feeling to it. I love the twiggy things, and it looks great how some of them are out of focus. And your eye make up looks amazing!

Oh, one thing I forgot to say. Perhaps it would look better if the twig bits on the top right didn't cover your eyes? If you take away the twigs over your eye, your eye contact or whatever would maybe be a bit stronger? Just a suggestion :) But the photo looks great! (as I said above)
